The Darien Animal Welfare Club (DAWG) will meet this Thursday, November 5th after school in B-210. We will plan for our screening of ‘The Cove” and also the holiday pet food drive. New members always welcome!

Be sure to check out Neirad Enilno for the Month of November.  Also be sure to check out the Neirad Enilno Quiz where you can win free Uncles Deli Gift Certificates!

Come join Weekend Alternatives and the Outdoor Club for their annual PAINTBALL OUTING on Saturday November 14th. Space is limited so please come see Mr. Sweeney in room B-308 to sign up and get the details. The bus will leave DHS at 8:30 and return at 2:30. All are welcome to come join the fun!

Help out with the Toiletry Drive that will benefit those in need in our community.  Place your donations of shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. in the boxes by the Attendance Desk—show others that DHS cares!

Attention DHS!  Winter is fast approaching; there are many people in our town and in neighboring towns who don’t possess good quality jackets to keep them warm at this time of year. YOU CAN HELP! The sophomore class will be running a coat drive from now until November 11th. Please donate your old coats and jackets to this cause; place them in the boxes labeled “Coat Drive” by the front office.

The DHS Girls Ice Hockey Team is now accepting donations for our Used Sports Equipment which will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 9AM to 1 PM in the DHS Cafeteria.  Any type of sporting equipment accepted. Please drop off your donations in the Rotunda at Middlesex Middle School starting Monday, November 2nd or call (203)831-0376 to arrange for a pick-up.

In order to alleviate the crowding in the library before school, the computer lab in G214 will now be open from 7:15-7:40 a.m. every morning starting today.
