Welcome to The College and Career Center
The College and Career Center is open to all students, staff and parents of Darien High School.
The Mission of the Center: To provide information on post-graduate opportunities for high school students.
Hours: Staffed by volunteers, the Center is open Monday to Friday from 11 to 1 during the school year.
Resources in the Center include:
- Viewbooks and applications for admission for over 500 colleges
- Course books for over 100 colleges
- Guidebooks for college admissions, including books for students with disabilities and scholarship/financial aid information
- Common application guide posterboard
- SAT registration materials
- Materials on summer programs: academic, travel, adventure, music and arts
- Materials for prep schools offering PG year programs
- Scholarship information
- 2 computers providing access to Naviance database
Databases: The CCC also maintains several databases for the use of our high school community.
