- Volunteer Opportunity: The Middle School and High School programs match students with intellectual and developmental disabilities with other students in one-to-one friendships. The buddies will meet twice a month and be in communication weekly. The students are enrolled in high school special education programs. Join us for our state-wide Friendship Walk on April 14th at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport. This event is an opportunity for chapter members, community members, family, and friends to come together and celebrate the friendships made by Best Buddies this year.
