DHS Directory 2008/2009

The DHS Directory is published each fall by the Darien High School Parent Association. It will be available for purchase at the parents’ Open House in September , 2008, and thereafter in the school office.

Students New to DHS

To include any student in the directory who has not been published in the previous directory (including incoming 9th graders), a parent or guardian must send the following directory information to DHSdirectory@gmail.com.

The Darien High School Parent Association (DHSPA) sends the DPN, an email newsletter, to parents approximately once each week. Please include any additional parent email addresses to which you would like to have the DPN sent.  Do NOT include student email addresses.  Email addresses are not published, not shared with anyone, and are only used by the DPN Committee.

Returning students

Please check your listing in last year’s directory.  No email is required if the information is unchanged. Parents may submit changes of address or telephone at any time to DHSdirectory@gmail.com. Requests to remove any student from the directory may be sent to the same address.

Please note that the DHSPA Directory Committee’s student database is entirely separate from the school’s database. It is the parent’s responsibility to provide information directly to the Committee.  The school and the Committee must both be advised of any changes. 

The DHS Directory is published by and a fundraiser for the DHSPA. It is available for purchase at the Open House at the beginning of each school year.

The Directory Committee obtains information for the directory, and permission to publish this information, from parents by email each spring. Your email gives the DHSPA the right to publish the student’s information in the directory in accordance with the Privacy Act, and must be sent by a parent or legal guardian.
