Histories Mysteries

Fuente Magna

The bowl was found near the border of Bolivia and Peru and is inscribed with cuneiform writing dating to 3,500BC. This site presents facts from a book and a Discovery film related to theories that link Atlantis to South America. There are also interesting connections to support a hypothesis that the ancient Sumerians may have originated in South America.

Photos of Nazca Lines and Machu Picchu

A good place to search for photos of the Nazca Lines is the Creative Commons website (http://creativecommons.org/). Creative Commons provides access to images, audio, video, etc. that are available for public use. Once at the site, choose “Search CC Licensed Work” at the top of the page. Type “nazca lines” in the search box on the next page, and click the “Go” button. Scroll down to view the photos.

Similarly, this can be done for Machu Picchu as well by substituting that term in the search box.
