Summer Reading List

All students must choose three books from the MMS Suggested Reading List. In addition, students will fill out a book form at the appropriate grade level for each book read. These will be given to their English teachers at the start of the school year. Each student will give an oral “Book Talk” during the first month of school.

Students going into the 8th grade accelerated English are required to read four books from the reading list and fill out four book forms.

Reading List

Any students who would like to choose a book not from the list must get written permission from a librarian or teacher.
