All concerts are performed at Darien High School

Winter Concerts

Dec. 8 -:7:30 PM 6 th, 7 th & 8 th Grade Bands, Jazz Ensemble

Dec. 10 -7:30 PM 6 th, 7 th,& 8 th Grade Orchestras, Contemporary Strings

Dec. 11-6:45 PM 6 th & 7 th Grade Choruses

-8:00 PM 8 th Grade Chorus, Camerata Singers

Spring Concerts

May 11- 6:45 PM 6 th & 7 th Grade Choruses

8:00 PM 8 th Grade Chorus, Camerata Singers

May 13- 7:30 PM 6 th, 7 th & 8 th Grade Bands, Jazz Ensemble

May 14- 7:30 PM 6 th, 7 th,& 8 th Grade Orchestras, Contemporary Strings

Warm-up time for concerts:

Generally students performing are asked to be at DHS approximately 45 minutes before the start of the concert. Teachers of the individual groups will give specific details regarding warm-up times.

CONCERT DRESS
When you perform in public, you are representing your ensemble and your school and it is important to dress appropriately. These guidelines for dress for our evening concerts (Winter & Spring) are intended to help you plan ahead.

Chorus Dress

Girls- Dress or appropriate skirt with shoes. No flip-flops, pants or sneakers.
Boys- Collared dress shirt and tie with slacks and (casual) shoes. No flip-flops, jeans, sneakers or any athletic footwear.

Camerata Singers Dress

Girls- Long black skirt, white top, black dress shoes (not too high)

Boys- Black dress pants, white collared shirt, tie, black dress shoes

 

Orchestra Dress

Black pants or skirt, black shoes, white dress shirt or blouse.
NO T-Shirts, shorts, jeans or flip-flops please.

 

Band Dress

Girls - White shirt or top, Black skirt (not too short) or slacks, black shoes.
No shorts, sneakers, flip-flops or casual sandals please.
Boys- WhiteDress shirt, tie (tied), black slacks, black (or dark)shoes and dark socks. No jeans, shorts, sneakers or t-shirts please.
