Physical Education Policies
-All students are expected to bring a change of clothes for physical education class.
-Each student is given a locker and a lock with a private combination at the beginning of the school year.
-Student combinations and lock serial numbers are kept in the staff offices and combinations will only be given to the owner of the locker. There is no sharing of locks and lockers!
The Attire
T-shirt or longsleeve shirt
(Students may wear sweatshirts during the colder months when we are outside)
Athletic shorts, sweats or pants
No jewelry
SNEAKERS(tied) with SOCKS
The students must change into their PE clothes even if they are wearing athletic clothes to school.
Medical Excuses
If a student has a note from home or a doctor about any physical injury or illness, the note must be brought to the nurse who will then issue a pass excusing the student from PE class.
If an illness or injury exempts a student from PE class for 2 weeks or more, the student will be placed in a study hall until they are capable of returning to class. Any written notes excusing the student for more than two weeks must be from a physician.
