Mrs. Boccanfuso becomes "Doctor Bo"

As most of you know, Mrs. Bo—I mean Doctor Boccanfuso recently earned her Doctorate degree in Professional Growth for School Leaders after 10 years of work.

She started the quest for her degree in January, 1997 and received it on May 5 th , 2007. Dr. Bo earned her degree from UCONN.

In her spare time, Dr. Bo likes crocheting (she even teaches a club on it), hanging out with friends, and reading. In fact, she likes reading and other academics so much she went to Southern Connecticut State University right out of high school with her sister, who is also a Middlesex staff member, Mrs. Lajoie.

Dr. Bo will continue to be principal, starting her 5 th year as Middlesex's “Chief” next fall. Dr. Boccanfuso has been at Middlesex for 21 years, and is no where near, in her words, “close to leaving this [place].”
