Movie Review: Open Season
By Jack R., Gold Team

I have seen a lot of kid-friendly movies this year, but Open Season is definitely one of the best. Open Season is about a grizzly bear named Boog (Martin Lawrence) who meets a deer named Elliot (Ashton Kutcher), and they wind up in the woods during hunting season. The two try to find their way out of the forest while avoiding the hunters. Debra Messing is the voice of Beth, a park ranger who raised Boog. The story was a little predictable but the amount of humor in it really picked up the slack. Some other films over the course of a year may make you laugh once in a while, but with Open Season you laugh a good 60% of the time. Ashton Kutcher and Martin Lawerence are amazing and provide most of the comedy throughout. I'm give it 4 out of 5 stars.
