A Letter from the Principal:

Hello Readers!

Welcome to the first edition of The Dragon. As you all know, Middlesex is a busy place that invites students to share their time and talents with their community. The Dragon is a new opportunity to do just that. As an online journalism experience, the community will have the chance to see the work our students produce as they document and convey the wonderful interactions and activities that occur at Middlesex. In addition to this exciting new venture, Middlesex students continue to be involved in serving their community in many ways. The magazine drive, which just ended, provides the funds for many of the clubs and activities that will take place inside these busy school walls, while the UNICEF Drive reaches far beyond our walls. These school-wide activities, along with the creation of The Dragon, exemplify the ongoing activities that occur daily at the building and team levels. The Dragon is another way for the students to serve their community by sharing these experiences with everyone.

So I invite you to browse through The Dragon, read articles of interest written by our talented students, and expand your knowledge about the ongoing activities that thrive because of our students, right here in our community. With the enthusiasm of the entire Dragon staff, I sincerely hope you enjoy the first edition of The Dragon!
