J. T. V. - The Last Shabang
By Jay A., Purple Team

This is the last issue of J.T.V. I hope you all keep reading The Dragon . For all my readers, thank you, and keep watching T.V.

The Office has made a really amazing turn around. Even though Steve Carrell was not a Golden Globe winner, his show has hit an A plus on the J-Meter. Not only was the Christmas episode a laugh out loud episode but they didn't go down, the traveling salesman episode was fundamental. Not only was the makeover on Karen and Phyllis as old as Stanley , but the Amazing Race reference was a pause and go back moment. Jim and Dwight had their one-two punch down but in the end, love overpowers work and Dwight gets the boot. Dwight does return however, as Andy goes SPAZTIC with a dirty stunt pulled by Jim and Pam. I'm not going to even try to explain my take on what a boob Michael was at Phyllis's wedding. So people I leave you with this: Oompa, loompa, doompidy, dawesome, Dwight is gone, that's totally awesome! Thank you Andy! (Even though you're in anger management.) I hope The Office continues its great success.  Strong Comeback: A+

The Apprentice kicked off with a big bang. Frank and Heidi stepped up as they were chosen to lead their teams out of the campgrounds and into the suite. Frank's team was brought down by sales, and Mr. Trump and Heidi picked Martin to get the tagline. “You're fired!” Frank's team took another hit as they lost a bathing suit competition, due to Carey and his “eccentric” suit design, which did not sell as well as the other suits. That lost the task for Team Arrow, and Carey was fired, giving Heidi and her team an exemption for the next challenge. James took over the challenge (creating tours in Downtown Hollywood ) as him and Aaron dominated the competition, forcing Michelle to tell Mr. Trump she quits, because she isn't welcome in her own team. Then Aaron, James, Tim, and FRANK make some amazing sales as they take down Heidi and her gang on the chicken sandwich competition. Marisa got the boot for not being a “team player.” Unfortunately, Team Arrow could not make it two in a row, and Aaron took the blame and was “fired” by Trump. Keep watching this exciting season of The Apprentice . Grade: A

Psych! What a great show! It has returned as Shawn and Gus head out to save their high school buddy and dad from a murder case. Shawn and Gus figure out that it was not the husband, but his wife that murdered their step-son. On a side note, Starbucks must have paid big bucks to get themselves on the episode when Shawn and Gus investigate how an astronomy partner died with nothing showing on his autopsy. But anyhow, the best episode is when Shawn, Juiles, Lassy, and Gus go undercover to find out how men end up in fields naked every Friday night. This episode involves some blind dates!!! However, even with all these great moments, Psych personally is not living up to its comedic reputation, but I still look forward to Psych every Friday. Grade: B+

How I Met Your Mother was getting so bad and inappropriate that I just turned off the TV for 2 weeks straight, but the Super Bowl episode and Lucky Penny changed my perspective on this show. When Ted misses his flight to Chicago and a chance for the job of a lifetime, he traces it back to a single penny. Along the way when he was back tracking you find out Barney ran a marathon and Marshall brakes his foot. The episode before that a friend who they've never met passes away and there forced to miss the Super Bowl, which is a tradition for them. So they have to go the whole day without finding out anything about the game. This episode really goes beyond funny, when they all end up finding out who won, and how it happened. Even with these two solid efforts, this show still needs improvement: B-

Unfortunately, I have to finish on a sour note. The Class has been TERRIBLE: F! With that said, I will give it a B last episode as you find out how Duncan and Nicole broke up and how Richie and Lena threw a Moroccan Chicken party; and how Kat and Ethan could be written off. I cannot continue with my feelings on this show or it will get out of hand. If you average in last week's B, I feel like the grade falls in the C-/D+ range. While I want to give it a strong D, it probably deserves a C… for CANCELLED!

Wild card: The Knights of Prosperity !: A-
