MMS Yearbook Honored

The seventh and eighth graders here at Middlesex, including ourselves, have seen the efforts and time Ms. Peterson and Ms. Orkins invested into producing our wonderful yearbook last year. For those who have not read the last yearbook, it was titled On Our Feet. The cover featured a picture of feet and shoes, which became the main theme throughout the book.

The yearbook staff worked very hard to make On Our Feet a successful publication and to ensure that hundreds of copies were made for the students here at Middlesex. Their ultimate goal was a finished product that students would be able to enjoy for years to come, but they did more than that. Our yearbook received an honorary award and a description was published in Ideas That Fly published by Herff Jones, a book featuring the best yearbooks the company publishes. Being included in this book is such an honor because Herff Jones publishes thousands of yearbooks for various high schools and middle schools, and only the best yearbooks are selected to be included.

The staff and entire Middlesex community are grateful to be acknowledged for the creativity and originality of our yearbook. We appreciate the help and support of Kristen Skrela in making On Our Feet a success. We would also like to thank her for the information which was included in this article.
