Who is Jane?

"Jane" is The Dragon's resident expert in all things middle school. The following requests for advice were produced by actual MMS students, but their names have been changed to protect the innocent. If you issue to submit a problem or question to Jane, feel free to get an "Ask Jane" form from your English teacher or print off the attached form, fill it out, and drop it in Mr. Sorensen's or Ms. Warren's mailbox.

Dear Jane,

I really like this one guy but he has no idea that I exist. Everything about him makes me so joyful! I get a slight tingling in my spine when ever he's around. If only he knew how great he is. Is there anyway I can tell him? I really want to but I am scared of rejection. Help!

Head-over-heels in love

Dear Head-over-heels,

Wow, you must really like this guy. The problem is that he might not like you as much as you like him. So how about starting off as friends? As you get to know each other maybe his feelings will change. In these situations it is important to be yourself. Good luck!

Dear Jane,

There's this really hot guy but the problem is he thinks I'm invisible. I am really shy and I have many boy troubles. To make it worse he has a girlfriend! What should I do? I really like him and am very attracted to him. He is a god!

Invisible Girl

Dear Invisible Girl,

There is a few problem here. First he has a girlfriend and that right there is a no-no, but if you really do like him, just wait because middle school couples don't last long. Also in order for him to like you back, you have to be out going and get his attention but be yourself all at the same time. So you have a difficult task, but I am sure you can handle it.
