Spotlight: Missing Home

For ten whole years I had adapted
to the place I've always called home.
I loved my one-of-a-kind town and the people in its presence,
this is where I grew up….

Six incredible years at Great Falls Elementary
just came and passed so quickly.
My best friends were always there for me,
for some of the greatest years of our lives.

All of the activities and sports that I was involved with,
I learned to do it all.
I knew that my life couldn't get much better,
and I miss it more than ever imaginable.

Although it is so far away,
I'm always ecstatic to remember it.
A part of me will always be there,
and I will never let it go.

The fantastic experiences and memories that I made
are what make me the person that I am today.
After all, it's hard to imagine how different your life would be,
if you hadn't done the things you did or met the people who changed it.
