Spotlight: The Slide
By Raleigh, Silver Team
The big slide
40 feet long and from me
It cannot hide.
So up that huge hill I climb,
with riding, sliding down in mind.
I get to the top
And down I flop.
I lay down on my back
Hoping I won't crack.
Faster
And faster
And faster I glide
as I make my way down that
monstrous slide.
Further
And further
And Further I drop
Then it all just… stopped.
