Question: Hong long have you been teaching?

Miss Wetter: I have been teaching for 12 years.

Q: Have you always been good at math?

Miss Wetter: Yes, ever since I was young.

Q: Where else have you taught besides Middlesex?

Miss Wetter: I taught in Massachusetts for nine years. I taught the elementary school for 3 years, teaching the 4 th grade and as a technology specialist in Needham , Massachusetts . I also taught the 6 th grade in Lexington before I cam to Darien.

Q: What made you want to come to Darien ?

Miss Wetter: Well, I grew up here and I have my family is mostly in Connecticut and in White Plains.

Q: What made you want to teach Math?

Miss Wetter: I always had good math teachers, especially my 6th grade teacher. She gave me good problems to solve and made me a better student.

Q: What do you like best about working in the Middlesex community?

Miss Wetter: Well, I love working with my team and this is the second year working with them (6th grade; Bronze Team). I also feel that the whole school is one big happy family!

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?

Miss Wetter: Morning Traffic!

Q: How early do you have to wake-up in the morning to get to work on time?

Miss Wetter: I have to leave my home by 6 a.m. or earlier.
