Mrs. Ascone is new teacher at MMS. She is greatly enjoying her first teaching job. She thinks that MMS is a great school because of the extremely kind students and staff. Mrs. Ascone has wanted to teach since she was in high school. She had a job before her teaching career bloomed at Bob's Discount Furniture. She worked with Mr. Rickert (a social studies teacher on the gold team). They were friends even before she began teaching at MMS.

On that note, moving onto Mrs. Ascone's personal life. Outside of school Mrs. Ascone enjoys running and spending time with her husband, Mr. Ascone. She is also embarking on the exciting journey of learning how to bake and cook. Her all time favorite foods are spaghetti with meatballs and pizza. Unfortunately, she has yet to learn how to make them. I'm sure that soon though, she will be flipping dough and rolling meat into balls. Mrs. Ascone has Italian food once a week, on the same day every week. It's a way of life for her! She says that you have to have a day once a week reserved for Italian food. For her it's Friday.

Mrs. Ascone is not only interested in food and cooking. Her favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean . “It's the only movie I can watch more than once. I hate watching movies two or more times.” She says. Her favorite animal is dogs because they are so loyal. Mrs. Ascone has traveled to the wild side more than once. One of thee times is when she was 19. She traveled to the Bahamas with only her best friend. She knew no one!

Mrs. Ascone is a very interesting person and a fantastic math teacher. In December she will be leaving to have her baby. MMS is so glad to have her here for this portion of the year.
