When people think about getting an animal, ignorance can sometimes cloud that decision. Dishonest pet store owners fool innocent buyers into thinking their store is different. They say they don't procure their puppies from a puppy mill. This is an economic inpossibility. There is no way they could stay in business if they didn't get this cheap source of "product" to fill their store. And NO responisble breeder would ever release their dogs to a pet store for placement. Instead think about rescuing one of the millions of dogs and cats desperately seeking a loving home.
Enter our newest pet of the month. Jazz is an adorable little girl looking for a home. She is a seven-month-old pit bull mix who is currently spending her days at the SPCA in Monroe. She is searching for a kind family to adopt and love her.
Jazz was found wandering around the streets of Bridgeport and was kindly taken in by the SPCA. This organization is a “No Kill Humane Group” that reaches out to help homeless animals such as Jazz.
Being cooped up behind wire bars is no way for an energetic young puppy to live. While most puppies her age have the luxury of being pampered and cuddled, Jazz is denied these privileges.
If you are interested in adopting Jazz or any of the other adorable dogs, please contact the SPCA of Connecticut. For further information call 203-445-9978 or email TSVSI@aol.com. Remember Don't Shop. Adopt!
