"They’ve got more to offer than just mouth-watering wings."

While we waited, we tried out a game that is played on one of the 34 full 1080p HD TV screens. The game is against other tables in the restaurant, and it helped pass the time. Basically, the waiter provides an electronic tablet with numbers to press, and the game on the screen is a question and answer kind of thing. The TV shows a question, and the longer it takes to answer the question, the more hints that are given, but the total amount of points you can earn lowers. After about six minutes of answering questions at lightning speeds, the food arrived, and it really was as good as people said. But I quickly realized how important the free refills are for battling the wings’ heat.

BW3’s hottest sauce, Blazin’, comes with a challenge. The Blazin’ challenge requires that someone eat 12 Blazin’ wings in six minutes. This might not sound hard, but when we asked the waiter about the challenge, she said on opening day someone went to the hospital with first degree burns.

No one in our group dared to try the Blazin’ challenge. The medium hot sauce was enough. It may be low on the spectrum of hotness, but it still came with some kick. I for one would never want to try the Blazin’ challenge, but Chris plans on attempting it during on our next visit.
The total bill came out to be $28.34, which was a surprising deal for three people, but I’m definitely not complaining. Overall, I think that everyone should check out Buffalo Wild Wings, because it’s a great deal on Mondays and Tuesdays, and they’ve got more to offer than just mouth-watering wings.

The Hottest Place to Eat
Buffalo Wild Wings' New Stamford Location

Buffalo Wild Wings, a sports bar chain, has opened its doors near the Stamford mall. With wall to wall HD TVs, great food, and a good atmosphere, this restaurant is sure to gain some new fans from Darien- including myself.

My group (juniors Bubba Weiss, Chris Brooks and I) arrived on Tuesday, which is a great night to go since wings are only 40 cents each, a great deal for some amazing wings. These wings might just be the some of the best I have ever had. The crispy coating and tender meat combined with the medium hot sauce is a match made in deep fried heaven. And while wings are only 40 cents on Tuesdays, Mondays are beginning to look brighter too as you can eat as many wings as you want for only $9.00. That’s right, as much as you want. Don’t go in on a Monday and wimp out by getting only 12 wings, go all out and get 40. Remember you can always bring the extra home!

When my group entered the restaurant, we were seated quickly and able to order after only a few minutes. For a drink, I got root beer, for $2.00 with free refills: an impressive deal compared to other places. Bubba got a coke, and Chris pretended to be on a diet and got diet coke. Since I was pretty much only there to try out the wings, I chose to get 18 medium hot wings and a large tray of fries. Following suit, Chris got 12 hot wings and small fries, and lastly Bubba got six medium, six mild wings. But I must admit I regretted my decision: I should have chosen a wider variety considering there are 12 different flavorings.
