As a person walks around Darien High School it’s easy to notice that a majority of students chew gum. From Orbit and Five, to Wrigley’s and even Big League Chew. Some kids chew gum to clean up their breath after breakfast or lunch and others only because it has become an everyday habit. While some teachers will not allow students to chew gum in their classes, there is no official rule that says it is not allowed in the classroom or the rest of the school.

Check out my Neirad Enilno colleague Katharine Macomber’s review on gum. Katharine is an avid gum chewer herself and has advice on the best situations to chew each specific brand of gum.

Neirad Enilno decided to say what students thoughts are on preference and practice of chewing gum this month.   Here’s what they had to say.
