Junior Great Books Sign-Up Has Started! 

Flyers were sent home in backpacks last week for students to sign up for this wonderful eight-week program which promotes reading, thinking, and the sharing of ideas in a structured discussion group.  Beginning in January, small groups read a short grade-level text and meet at school for 45 minutes at lunchtime.  Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades who love to read and talk about their "literary" ideas are encouraged to join us.  The cost is $50 and includes a book for each student, and the sign-up deadline is December 7th.
