School Wide Enrichment
The School Wide Enrichment Committee designs and executes programs to enrich and enhance students’ academic experience. The theme for 2011 – 2012 is “Art Around the World.” Students will be introduced to visual and performing arts from three different continents across the globe -- Africa in the fall and Asia and South America in the spring. Look for rotating world arts & crafts displays in the library and student created artwork inspired by the different regions on school bulletin boards when you visit Ox Ridge! Past Events:
Tuesday, October 18th -Ox Ridge students were enthralled by the rhythms of "Infinite Roots," an African drum and dance troupe led by master drummer Henry Jones. Mr. Jones and his ensemble taught the students about various African instruments, costumes, songs and dance as part of this year's Ox Ridge school wide enrichment theme of "Art Across the World."
