Fundraising

There are many wonderful ways to support Ox Ridge School. We offer several fundraisers throughout the year. In the fall we run an Innisbrook wrapping paper sale. Your participation is critical to its success! Last year, more than 75% of our families participated, raising 75% of the PTO's annual budget.

Other fundraising programs throughout the year include our fall and spring Book Fairs, Stop & Shop A+ School Rewards Program, Ox Ridge Outfitters, and Box Tops.

The majority of the money that is raised from these combined efforts directly benefits our children in the form of wonderful enrichment programs. In addition, it helps to pay for class field trips. Both enrichment programs and field trips tie into the curriculum and enhance the children's overall learning experience at Ox Ridge School.

The CDSP (Council of Darien School Parents), the umbrella organization for the PTOs of the Darien Public Schools, currently has an agreement in place which allows the elementary school PTOs to spend $100 per student in the course of a school year. Our final operating budget is based on this $100 times our student enrollment as of October 1st, 2011. We hope that you will support our fundraisers as generously as you can.
