2008 P. E. Make-Ups - 3^rd & 4^th Quarters

If a student has missed more than 20% of his or her classes due to field trips, Illness etc, they will be allowed to make up the excused absences on the dates below.

There will only be 5 dates that you will be allowed to make up classes.

Failure to make up classes during the dates and times below to achieve 80% of your attendance will result in an “X” for the quarter. This will force you to double up on P.E. in another quarter during that school year or attend Summer School.

• 9^th and 10^th – after 4 misses you will need to make up classes
• 11^th and 12^th – after 3 misses you will need to make up classes

This responsibility is yours and yours alone. It is your responsibility to keep track of your attendance to make sure that you are in compliance with the state mandated requirement for credit in Physical Education.

Students must be on time and changed out for the classes that they will be making up.

Doors will be locked 5 minutes after the make up class begins.

3^rd Quarter Make-up Dates

· February 28 6:45-7:30

· March 6 6:45-7:30

· March 13^th 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

· March 20^th 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

· March 27^th 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

4^th Quarter Make-up Dates

· May 8 6:45-7:30

· May 15 6:45-7:30

· May 22^nd 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

· May 29^th 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

· June 5^th 6:45- 7:30 a.m.

Your are NOT ALLOWED to make up unexcused absences.

3 unexcused absences = “X”.
