We hope that viewing this video will help ease your child's transition to Kindergarten at Royle School, and possibly calm some nerves. The video can be used as an excellent starting point for you to engage in meaningful conversations. Some ideas for generating discussion could include: asking what your child liked most in the video, or what they think might be their favorite things to do in Kindergarten. It would be a good idea to encourage your child to ask questions, and then provide them with further information and lots of reassurance. Repeated viewing of this video is encouraged as well as pausing the playback periodically to take a moment and discuss specific segments.

Green Cleaning Programs in Schools (CT PUBLIC ACT 09-81)
The State of Connecticut is requiring that each local and regional board of education implement a green cleaning program for all school buildings and facilities in its district.
The Darien Public Schools is committed to the implementation of this law by providing the staff and the parents and guardians of each child enrolled in each school with a written statement of the school district’s green cleaning program as well as making it available on its web site annually.
