Royle Round Up 2012

The return of this Royle school tradition, after its over 15 year hiatus, was a hit
last May. Kids, parents and Royle staff could not believe how much fun having
a school fair again could be.
Here’s some of what they said about the Royle Round Up:
Mom, today was the best day ever. Can we do Round Up again tomorrow?
We loved the Round Up. It was simply amazing. Who knew a cake walk could be that much fun?!
In the effort to create an old fashion event, a community came together in an old fashion way. Children
left their parent's side only to be under the watchful eye of another parent, neighbor, friend or
teacher. It was not children run amuck rather the opposite. Kids were polite, patient, having fun and
lending a hand.
Such a good time had by all and the children are already looking forward to next year's Round-Up.
It reminded everyone of fairs when they were kids. So cool. Loved the goldfish!
It was just the most fun we had as a family in a while - the kids had a blast. We loved all the old school
games and really enjoyed spending the afternoon with our kids.
So mark your calendars for this year’s Round Up, dust off your boots and get ready for
some old fashioned fun.
