The Royle School Store is open every Wednesday from 8:05 - 8:25 in the cafeteria. In the event of a delayed school opening, the School Store will be canceled for that day. The store stocks assignment books, essential school supplies, and fun school accessories.
The store is run by fifth graders as well as parent volunteers. A volunteer schedule is posted on the School Store bulletin board in the cafeteria.
The purpose of the School Store is to raise money for the end of year gift given to the school by the fifth graders as well as the fifth grade class plaque. It also provides an opportunity for fifth graders to ìrunî the store which includes making special announcements, selecting products to sell, displaying the items, calculating purchases and collecting money. The store also makes essential school supplies and the recommended 4 th and 5 th grade assignment books readily available to Royle students.
