Submission format:

1) does the student have a hard-copy (stapled with the rubric at the back) ready to hand in at the beginning of class on the due date?

2) was the essay submitted to turnitin.com before class on the due date?

NOTE: essays not submitted at all lose 10 points per day late or will receive half credit, whichever is greater. Essays submitted only in one format lose 3 points and will be held without credit until submitted in the second format.

 If the work meets the standard in each category, it will receive an 84 (B). If the standard is exceeded, two points may be earned in each category (except where otherwise stated); if a standard is not met, two points may be lost in each category. Up to 5 points may be lost in any category for failure to include the standard.
