About DHS SSC!

The Ski and Snowboard Club is open to all members of the DHS community. Every year we aim to take four trips to ski mountains in Vermont, New York, or New Hampshire.

Students must have prior ski or snowboard experience in order to attend the trips. One trip each season is made availble for students who would like to learn to ski or snowboard. The last trip of the year is customarily an weekend overnight experience.

Students should also own their own equiptment or have rented the necessary equipment prior to their participation on any of the trips.

The day trips cost $125 and include lift tickets, transportation, and snack foods. All trips are facilitated through the travel agency Ski 93 Inc.

Trips are capped at 40 students and are filled on a first come/first served basis.

Additional information about day trips can be found here. STUDENTS AND PARENTS SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH THE EXPECTATIONS FOUND HERE.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Chris Buckley at cbuckley@darienps.org or Jeromy Nelson at jnelson@darienps.org.
