Lesson Plan

In this project, you will work independently and collectively to create a 5min broadcast quality news program that can air on WAVE TV, be shown on the school VBRICK system, or posted on our school web site.

Composition Elements

    1. Show Open - Mr. V will handle this time
    2. Lower Thirds
    3. Stock Audio (no copy write protected audio allowed)- Mr. V will post loops and sound fx on our new terabyte drive
    4. Side Bars when needed
    5. All reporters will be filmed in front of our green screen for special effects compositing (except on location reporting)
    6. Color Schemes will be used for all broadcast elements (lower thirds-station logo-side bars-show open-transitions)
    7. Be mindful of the Rule Of Thirds
