In this project, you will work independently to create a 30-second PSA that can air on WAVE TV, be shown on the school VBRICK system, or posted on our school website. Develop your ideas for a PSA to raise awareness about a health, safety, or environmental issue.
What is a PSA?
Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are non-commercial announcements that
benefit their intended audience, rather than the company that created them.
For example, a PSA that provides boating and fishing information differs from
a paid ad that promotes the sale of boating and fishing products. Most PSAs
are produced by non-profit organizations, but commercial, for-profit organizations
may also use them to promote non-profit activities and events.
