American History 300

This course will approach U.S. history from an interdisciplinary perspective.  Students will integrate concepts and specifics from history, literature, and culture.  In addition to history essays, quizzes and unit tests, a major interdisciplinary paper per quarter will be evaluated by both the English and Social Studies teachers.  Through oral presentations, essays, formal research papers, and examinations the student will demonstrate comprehension of the course readings and classroom work.
