Welcome to Earth Science at DHS

Earth Science at DHS is energizing, exciting and dynamic.   The courses change focus throughout the year.  This course fulfills one of your critical high school laboratory science requirements, and is excellent preparation for future college-level studies in the sciences.

Geology, astronomy, meteorology, and oceanography are some of the main-theme topics we will cover together.  Students in Earth Science are given many opportunities to develop and practice their critical thinking, investigation, organization and presentation skills.

During labs we take advantage of some of the best learning technologies available, and our students are continually challenged to grow and develop much more than basic understanding.
