Funny, embarrassing moments, from George

It seems like I am always embarrassing myself in the course of every day here in China.  It started on the first day of school when we had an all school assembly on the front lawn of the school.  I thought that all the American students were supposed to be with all the Chinese students at the assembly.   But, as I was looking for John King (because he's so tall and all) I caught a glimpse of all the American students standing inside the building in front of me, behind the person that was talking.  I then realized that I was going to have to walk up there by myself, and then embarrass myself in front of the entire school.   But, I gathered up the courage and walked up there.  As I walked up I could hear all of my friends cracking up at how stupid I looked, and I don't think I had ever felt so embarrassed.  But, now that I look back on it I realize how funny I must have looked at the time.   I have tons of embarrassing stories similar to that one, and it seems as though I'm acquiring many more embarrassing moments than everyone else as the month has been progressing.  But, I realize that all of these terrible moments will build character and add to the experience.

P.S.- Even though my chopsticks abilities have gotten much much better, using them can sometimes add to the embarrassing moments.
