SCHOOL MESSENGER emails are going out on Friday, August 28th to advise of posting of bus routes.
If you DO NOT see a bus in your student's ASPEN profile you have not been assigned a bus. If you missed the opt in/out period and wish to have transportation for your bus eligible address, please contact transportation. NO CHANGES will be made to add students from August 24-September 7. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
2021-2022 Bus Routes
This year, the district has opt in/opt out busing. Bus eligible students were emailed a survey which was open until August 13, 2021. If you feel that you are bus eligible and did not receive or complete a survey please fill out a transportation request and email immediately. Students who opt out may opt back in with written notice and it may take 48-72 hours to resume busing after September 7th. Any questions or concerns may be emailed to transportation at kbarbieri[AT]darienps.org Please continue to check after next week for the updated bus routes which are expected to change frequently this year. Your bus assignment will appear in your ASPEN profile shortly. If the bus line is blank you do not have a bus assigned. Students must be assigned in order to ride the bus, so that we may control the numbers in an effort to social district to the best of our ability.
Route information may change daily as we receive changes of address and as we continue to welcome new students to our district. Routes are subject to change from year to year. Please check back often!

PLEASE NOTE: Route times are estimated and will vary particularly in the beginning of the school year, during inclement weather, and traffic congestion on I-95. As always, times listed are approximate and can vary +/- five minutes on regular routes. All questions/concerns regarding routing, bus drivers, safety, and bus stops should be directed via email to the Finance & Operations Office. Please DO NOT call the bus company. They will only direct you back to the district.
In the event that your student does not require busing, please let the district know so that we can remove your student from the route. If your student is bus eligible, you will receive a letter in ASPEN before the start of the school year and you will note a bus route on AM route in ASPEN. If there is no bus information shown, your student is not assigned to a bus for the district. Please note that per BOE policy not all students in the district are bus eligible.
