Summer Math Placement Testing
August 19, 2026 & June, July & August 2027
The Summer Mathematics Placement Exam is offered to verify appropriate mathematics placement for a limited group of students.

Who Should Take the Exam? ✓
The placement exam is intended for:
- Students who are new to Darien Public Schools
- Students who completed approved summer coursework and require placement verification
- Students recommended by the Mathematics Department Chairperson

Students Entering Middlesex Middle School
Students entering Grades 6–8 will be assessed during the first week of school to confirm appropriate mathematics placement.
There is no need to take the summer placement exam.

Important Information
- Exam Dates & Locations: August 19, 2026 - 11AM at MMS | 2027 Dates Coming Soon
- Students may take the Summer Mathematics Placement Exam only once.
- Registration is required. Complete the Summer Placement Form to register.
